  • Lead Site SHE Functions and Contractor Management:
    • Take charge of overseeing and leading all Site SHE functions.
    • Manage contractor relationships, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Standardize and Monitor Contractor Management Program:
    • Establish and maintain standardized contractor management programs on site.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the contractor management program.
  • Develop and Monitor Systems for Contractor Control:
    • Develop robust systems for effective control and monitoring of contractors.
    • Implement and continuously improve processes for contractor management.
  • Manage Permit-to-Work (PTW) System:
    • Take ownership of the PTW system, ensuring its efficient operation.
    • Conduct regular reviews and updates to enhance the effectiveness of the PTW system.
  • Audits and Performance Evaluations:
    • Conduct regular audits of contractors and on-site systems.
    • Perform routine performance evaluations of relevant contractors.
  • Process Safety and Engineering Governance:
    • Act as a vital member of the Process Safety team.
    • Manage and govern engineering-related statutory inspections, such as Loler.
  • Training Delivery and Leadership:
    • Deliver training sessions on contractor management and PTW.
    • Provide leadership in improving the understanding, behaviour, and approach to SHE for all employees.
  • Reporting and Compliance:
    • Effectively report on site SHEQ activities in a timely and comprehensive manner.
    • Ensure compliance with local legal requirements and Henkel SHEQ standards and procedures.


  • Proven experience in a similar SHE Engineer role.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • NEBOSH Certified in Occupational Health & Safety
  • Good knowledge of Manufacturing and/or Engineering and Process Safety.
  • NEBOSH Certified in Occupational Health & Safety
