YOUR ROLE

Define & implement regional agenda: regional implementation and adaptation of global sustainability strategy and agenda
Connect regional network: build regional network and multipliers to accelerate implementation of sustainability targets in the region
Drive upskilling: translating global concepts into regional perspective and lift expertise in the areas of climate, circularity and chemical safety
Build reputation: accelerate internal communication through townhalls, digital communication channels and expert networks, as well as external communication through engagement in events, conferences, associations and other opportunities leveraging speaking opportunities
Create impact for business: unlock differentiation with sustainable solutions by identifying business partnerships and driving local partnership programs. Define and deliver regional specific outputs including narratives for customers to clearly communicate value and impact of Henkel’s solution

YOUR SKILLS

Masters in science (Chemistry, Engineering, Biology) or Sustainability Management
10+ years total experience in Chemical industry, with 3+ years in Sustainability role
Solid understanding of sustainability concepts, including triple bottom line, circular economy principles, recycling and sustainable materials, and CO2 emission accounting principles (Scope 1,2,3)
Experience working in associations and with Public Affairs
Experience in MarCom / brand promotions
Passion for sustainability/mindset
Strategic thinking: analytical, structuring & solving problems,
Stakeholder management skills: establish and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external networks, promote transparency and accountability
Project management: from ideation, planning to implementation
Strong communication skills: building trust, influencing
