YOUR ROLE
- Located in Latam Region, The Global Trade Manager is a trade compliance professional who is responsible for Henkel compliance within regional import and export regulations, ensuring regional trade programs and Henkel Corporate and standard guidelines;
- The LATAM Trade Manager ensures efficient and effective Customs Compliance / Trade process deliverables aligned to global standard process and keep professional relationship with global /regional and local stakeholders, GBS+ and FT team;
- Must ensure correct processes, mitigate risks (compliance), detect saving opportunities and standardize processes in Latam Region, Monitor and support on Customs audits and litigation related to trade topics;
- Be part of a team of highly motivated specialists in different regions that work together to further develop and communicate the Trade & Customs Business Process Owner program for Henkel Strategic Business Solutions;
- Design project plans for FTA compliance and opportunities for additional duty savings;
- Providing global support and advice to BU’s and functions in case of new processes to be implemented as well as training and supporting Regional Process Experts and local colleagues;
- Lead technical matters for trade in internal and external audits;
- Develop and drive the Trade Analytics strategy to facilitate the realization of the digital and innovation goals of Henkel;
- Support the business and key users in digital initiatives such as digital commerce, as well as user support for integration of new acquisitions and divestments;
- Ensuring Global Trade and Customs compliance and safeguard template processes within projects as well as in daily work;
- Evaluating and implementing digital procedures for process optimization;
- Monitor customs regulations, adjust procedures and advise appropriate parties of changes – lead the implementation of new processes when needed;
- Develop and maintain training programs for business partners involved in trade matters;
- Represent Trade & Customs on strategic projects with cross-functional and cross-regional teams;
