As Purchasing Sustainability Manager within our Corporate Purchasing Department, you actively contribute to shape Henkel’s Responsible Sourcing agenda. With our supplier base as one of our most important resources we drive sustainability performance along our supply chain. In close collaboration with our strategic sourcing teams, the Business Units and Functions we implement impactful responsible sourcing strategies – to strengthen Henkel’s overall reputation and as our contribution to purposeful growth.

YOUR ROLE

• Strategy: Continuously shape our comprehensive responsible sourcing strategy in line with Henkel’s 2030+ Sustainability Ambition Framework by closely collaborating with our strategic sourcing teams of our global Purchasing organization
• Project Management: Full dedication to sustainability topics that drive our ambition to become a climate-positive, more transparent and circular company, delivering a greater positive impact with a reduced environmental footprint. Manage and drive progress in sustainability related projects and assigned focus topics such as social/ inclusive procurement
• Communication: Strengthen Henkel’s responsible sourcing program with internal and external stakeholders by managing appropriate communication channels
  
• Sustainability Engagement & Upskilling: Drive engagement approach with internal teams as well as external parties to foster sustainability & responsible sourcing practices. Take the lead to manage continuous upskilling initiatives across units and topics, internally as well targeting our supply base

YOUR SKILLS

• Excellent degree in Science or Business Administration, additional Master in Supply Chain / Procurement / Sustainability preferred
  
• At least 3-5 years of professional experience, thereof preferably in a similar industry environment
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills, passion to work in cross-functional teams and experienced in managing complex projects in multi-stakeholder environments, ideally with a strong focus on sustainability-related projects
  
• Excellent English, additional languages are a plus
  
• Strong analytical and communication skills
  
• Excellent collaboration skills and strong team player
  
• Passionate about sustainability and responsible sourcing
  
• We are looking for an individual who can be both strategic and analytical, has strong project management skills, and is passionate about driving change and challenging the status quo
