• Job Summary
  
• Support consumer device business with successfully development of epoxy related structural adhesives
  
• Contribute to epoxy technology platform through development of IP and accumulation of technical know-how
  
  
• Responsibilities
  
• New product (and technology) development of epoxy based structural adhesives
  
• Patents filling and technical know-how development
  
• Cross-functional support to application engineering, sales, marketing, operational, PSRA and supply teams
  
• Comply with PSRA regulations and SHE policies, Support to lab 5S and SHE maintenance
  
  
• Accountabilities (Time in %)
  
• Product development related activities (formulating, testing, results analyzing, project reports preparing) 50%
  
• Technical knowhow & IP development 20%
  
• Cross functional support 10%
  
• Competitive analysis 10%
  
• SHE & 5S maintenance 10%

YOUR SKILLS

• Chemistry related educational background e.g. polymer chemistry/physics, organic chemistry, material sciences, PhD preferred
  
• 5+ Years of working experiences in adhesive or related industries, proficient in epoxy chemistry and deep understanding of structure – property relationship, familiar with acrylate/urethane/silicone and other hybrid chemistries
  
• Skilled in adhesive formulation with successful product development and trackable commercialization record
  
• Good communication skills
  
• Adhesive technical depth growth through 1) systematic adhesive technologies training, 2) formulation facing very challenging requests of customers and 3) technical exchange within local PD team and cross-region
  
• Flexibility of touching other adhesive chemistries and technologies
  
• Stable working environment and sufficient technical resources to support product development
